DINDON
for accordion with stompbox pedals and electric bass with stompbox pedals (2001/02) or for accordion with stompbox pedals and electric guitar with stompbox pedals (2016) total duration: 27' Dindon was composed for the German-based duo Interzone Perceptible and was premiered by them in May 2002 in Theater Kikker Utrecht/The Netherlands. The ultimate form of the piece is determined by the musicians. It contains 7 sections per player in variable order, that are superimposed in an overlapping manner. These sections are connected by so-called "interzones", that are segments in which the musicians have to play according to verbal instructions, giving them a great amount of freedom in the interpretation. In 2016 I made a version of the piece for accordion and electric guitar on the request of Yaron Deutsch and Krassimir Sterev.
