This piece is based on the idea to combine different musical styles within a single composition, avoiding the effect of a mere collage. I tried to attain this by unifying the harmonic diversity by taking a melody as a base, that is present throughout the whole piece as a succession of combination tones. Under this constriction I had the possibility to compose tonal as well as a-tonal/modal textures without giving up this axis. Different non-intermediated blocks are set to each other in a way, that makes a new musical quality emerge.
